The turn card gives me a double flush draw + GSSD. Basically a ton of effin outs. My first mistake, or maybe it wasn't even one, was mistakingly hitting the 1/2 pot button instead of raising full pot like I thought I did.

Missed everything on the river and have a 1/2 pot bet left. Is this a scare card often enough to move him off a better hand getting 3 to 1 odds?

I agree with your flop assessment. It was definitely a marginal call and a cautious one at that. Kind of like, let's see who else is interested in this hand and what happens on the turn. I wouldn't have gone nuts with a flush if anyone else showed too much interest and I might have leaned towards a fold entirely if the other card were not a heart.
