I was playing 1/2 Limit Crazy Pineapple tonight and flopped quads twice in less than 20 hands. Are the odds of this happening greater in this game than they would be in regular holdem? I can't see as it would happen anymore often since you have to discard one of your hole cards after the flop. But I would be interested in hearing from some brainiac as to whether or not I am correct in this.

its not much more likely once you assume you have the pair.

However.... in pineapple you get dealt a pair alot more often. So if you looked at it as the odds I will flop quads on the next hand (before you get dealt a hand) im sure pineapple is considerably higher. However, im not good enough to come up with actual numbers.
