Profited $10 on the day. Guess that's a major victory considering it's only my 2nd winning day in the last 11 tries (other win was $18). 7 winning days and 18 losing ones this month....even worse because I haven't even played that many MTT's the past 2 weeks. All cash game losses.....LO8, NLHE 6-max, PLO.

Session 1: 1hr NL$50 6-max 268h (-$44.40)
Summary:

- Started off well, stacked a shorty who just limp/called with AA UTG. I flopped a boat w/ TT (T22) and took his $15. But then I lost the $15 right back to another shorty with QQ < AJs in a 3-bet pot preflop.
- Lost the minimum several times when I avoided the river c/r by not value betting lightly.
AJ vs T8s on 968A8 board where flopped every draw in the world.
- Raise 6xBB with AA to punish the limper. He calls of course. Thought the JJ5 flop was actually good, but caught the c/r the one time I tried to v-bet light on the JJ5QK board. I get crushed when I get cute and try to raise these limpers off marginal hands with my trash. I don't know, where did I make the mistake here?
SB was new, no stats.

Stacks:
UTG ($56.40)
UTG+1 ($49.25)
CO ($7.95)
BTN ($51.15)
SB ($32.50)
Hero ($50.00)

Pre-flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is BB [Ad] [Ah]
2 folds, CO calls $0.50 ($7.45), 1 fold, SB calls $0.25 ($32.00), Hero raises to $3 ($46.50), CO folds ($7.45), SB calls $2.50 ($29.50)

Flop: [Jc] [Jd] [5h] ($6.50, 2 players)
SB checks ($29.50), Hero checks ($47.00)

Turn: [Qs] ($6.50, 2 players)
SB checks ($29.50), Hero bets $4 ($43.00), SB calls $4 ($25.50)

River: [Kh] ($14.50, 2 players)
SB checks ($25.50), Hero bets $8 ($35.00), SB goes all-in $25.50 ($0.00), Hero folds ($35.00)

Final Pot: $30.50

SB wins $46.55 ( won +$14.05 )
Hero lost -$15.00
CO lost -$0.50

Session 2: 1hr 4m NL$50 6-max 264h +$75.65
Summary:

- One instance where my new PT3 HUD actually helped me. Knew that even though he was raising from the BTN, he was nitty enough that he probably had a big hand and that he couldn't fold it post-flop. Flopped a rare boat and stacked QQ.

http://weaktight.com/212947
(Got him to do exactly what I wanted him to do with the Turn bet. Had him for JJ+ so the river card was kinda scary. Gave him a decent chance of having a bigger boat.)

- Avoided another river c/r from a station. Player was 64/2 and went to just about every showdown. Played his quads brilliantly, although I kinda had him for at least an 8 by the turn.
http://weaktight.com/212949

- Took a bunch of small to medium pots off quad guy though as I just let him bluff when I had overpairs. Ya know how I knew when he actually had a hand? He checked it!

Session 3: 1hr 3m PLO$50 6-max 193h (-$20.75)
Summary:

- I never play these super-low hands, but the 1 time I decide to limp with it, I catch a huge cooler on the flop. Flop a boat and stick it in DEAD!
http://weaktight.com/212950

- Same annoying short stack never misses a flush draw....
http://weaktight.com/212885 (I don't know how he could have this much equity on the flop. I thought I was the favorite.)
http://weaktight.com/212951 (How could I possibly think I've got him here? I only flopped the nuts with a wrap re-draw. Guess I'm lucky he was a shorty and that the club came on the turn because I would have got it in against almost anyone there on a safe turn.)

- Was dealt a bunch of big starting hands (suited wrap type) and flopped big quite a few times, but with no action when I actually wanted it.

- Even though the raise came from the BTN and I was BB, I had a feeling. I considered getting away on the turn, but still think I got away cheap enough.
http://weaktight.com/212956

- Dealt AAxx 9x in the session. 7 of them at least single suited, 2 of them double. Loss of $19.15 which just about what I lost in the session, so there's your difference.

- Gotta give at least 1 decent winning pot, so here it is......
Perfect river, but couldn't get the overcall

I thought I posted last night, but I guess I hit the wrong button.

Short story, 2 sessions.
1 - PLO$50 200 hands. Ran over 1 table for 5 stacks while losing 1 stack combined on the other 2.

Most of the hands are posted in the Omaha forum in one post. Gambooled on a few hands and had luck on my side. Won every big pot I was in.

1st hand I played, huge pot
http://weaktight.com/213404

Just a few hands later
http://weaktight.com/213406

Marginal turn call. Would have folded w/o the straight draw to make up for the times I can't call profitably with just the flush.
http://weaktight.com/213487

Hand posted in the Omaha forum. Normal stack shoves with deep stack still in the pot.
http://weaktight.com/213418 (this link contains results)

And here, I have no idea what the hell he was thinking. If he really thought he could move me off AQxx, he didn't have enough chips. What's he trying to rep here? Q5? Quads?
http://weaktight.com/213489

2 - NLHE 500 hands +$44

1 hand that was the difference. Posted this in the NL forum. I don't know WTF he was thinking either.
http://weaktight.com/213527

Did run into quads twice. Once TT on a TT5 flop. Once where I ended up with a boat but he let me off cheap with small bets. I had Kx in BB, he had AQ on BTN (open-limped) on QKQQA board.

Here I just got sick of the limpers calling pretty large raises with just any 2 pieces of shit they limp in with and then raising the flop or turn just about 100% of the time.
http://weaktight.com/213525

And this is just an action flop after one of those tard preflop re-raises.

Played an hour of PLO last night. Lost 30 cents. The PLO luckbox totally abandoned me late tonight. Had a real shot at finishing up another 3 or 4 stacks, but when the bluff doesn't work, just call the shove with air anyway and it should work out.

This was the 3rd time in a row he had min-re-raised my preflop raise. I guess I showed him, huh?

BTN wins $95.65 ( won +$46.7 )

He did it again a 4th time in a row and I flopped top 2 pair. Only lost 1/2 a stack though when he turned his set.
[Ad][Kc][Td][4s] < [Qd][7s][7d][5c] on [Th][Kd][6c] flop.

So there's a 3 stack difference just in those 2 hands in my last orbit that turned a 3.5 - 4 stack profit into a little more than a 1/2 stack profit.

The bad news is that May was a losing month.

The good news is that the total deficit was cut from about $1k to under $600 over the last several days.

Played the Silver and Gold freerolls on Stars this afternoon. I think I cashed in the Silver the first 2 times I played it and none since. It was my first Gold freeroll.

Went out of the Silver shoving KJs over a very loose raiser. He snap called QTo.
9KT......T.....9 and this marks the 7th MTT in a row that I was either crippled or knocked out where I was over a 3-1 favorite on the flop. Could there have been a worse turn care in the deck? Went out of the Gold on a coin flip - AQ < 88.

Played 45 minutes of NLHE $50 to grab 50 more points to maintain Gold next month. Several short stacks were in a charitable mood, just donating their stacks too me. Also won 1 coin flip AK vs TT and got lucky with a set on the river TT vs JJ vs 1/2 stacks in 3 and 4-bet preflop hands.

PT3 continues to be very frustrating. The HUD bugs and missing features that were present in PT2 almost outweigh the new features. Almost.....but I will probably be purchasing if/when the bugs are cleared up.

Lastly, looks like I'll be putting in some time at Full Tilt in June and July to get my Iron Man mid-year bonus. The Happy Hour 2x points should make it easier. Combined with a $285 Stars bonus at 25K points should I choose to take it, I could pick up around $600 in bonuses within the next 2 months.

When you run like shit, you really run like shit and you know it too.

99 < AQ on a 6-hi flop because nobody's folding A-hi when the UTG player raises and then c-bets enough to commit on that flop. A on the turn.

AA < 88 all-in preflop and I was 100% sure it was coming. 8 the 1st card out on the flop.

Open shove A8o in CO for 11BB w/ blinds going up in a minute. BTN has AJs. Ace on the turn, 8 on the river....except that he flopped the nut flush.

Only 2 cashes in last 21 MTT's and those were for a total profit of $1.50 and $11.51.

The NLHE MTT's were no better. Where are the fold button's they're supposedly giving out I ask? Lotta weird shit and strange over-sized bets today, but it's Sunday.

All-in preflop KO hands tonight include....
77 < AQ.....coin flip
A7o < KQ......don't understand how he snap called KQo vs my shove but whatever
77 < 99.....actually a hand I was behind where I can't fault opponent's play
65s < KTs......he limped 2 off the button, I shoved in CO. Snap call, same suit no less. He was trapping with his KT.

All-in wins tonight......
KK > JJ......UTG raises, I re-raise, MP shoves....and no he wasn't short. We both had healthy stacks.

I did knock him out on my next all in though with AA on an ATx flop vs AT. I was only 99.9% favored there.

Then lost my next all-in, another coin flip, like my 10th coin flip MTT loss in a row with JJ vs AQ.

I'm probably due for a horrid coin flip stretch as I've run pretty normal in them for a long time. Normal.......not hot or anything.....just normal. But if I'm not 99.9% or better, I'm not winning any all-in MTT hands lately.

Played a shit load of Omaha today, mostly PLO with a little LO8 mixed in, both on Full Tilt and Stars in addition to the torturous MSOP event. Yes, I'm back playing on Full Tilt this month for the mid-year Iron Man bonus.

Had my 2nd best LO8 session of the year. Only lost $6 in about 150 hands of 2/4 and 3/6. Ended up profiting about $25 on the day in all.

Big losers:
I thought this call was a lot more marginal when I made it, but I was really about a coin flip getting 2-1 on the turn.
http://weaktight.com/219775

Here I'm just out of my mind and felt like gambling. This one was on Stars I think. All the others are from Full Tilt.
http://weaktight.com/219669

This hand is just a joke. Thankfully my opponent played his hand horribly and cost himself my entire stack on the flop. Love the slowplaying. I thought this was a monster flop for me and I would have gotten it in easily on the flop and told myself that I was gonna get it in on just about any turn happily......cept that one. I thought the K was the one card I didn't want to see, but in reality it saved my stack. On Stars I get stacked here probably, but it's Full Tilt, I know I'm beat when that K comes off....though I was expecting KJ.

Luckily I found a few good spots to get my money in bad.....and on Full Tilt that's the nuts.

Actually wasn't that bad here. This is when it's ok to have a straight draw against a flush draw.

Ok, so I didn't ever really get my money as bad as I thought I did and win. I guess I still don't entirely have a firm grasp on PLO post-flop hand values in certain situations.

Just had my worst losing session in any game ever. Dropped 4.5 stacks in PLO. The biggest one was where I flopped middle set w/ an OESD and lost to top set with a FD.

Didn't go on tilt though and had an excellent chance of making some back, but then this was the back-breaker against the same player. He refused to fold and he refused to lose a hand. Snap call vs the pot bet on the turn, huh? Should I feel better because I knew exactly what he had and didn't give him the odds? Is that knowledge worth the 2 stack swing?

Seriously, can anyone else here consistanly drop stacks like this? Why couldn't I just be happy with the $10 that was out there? No, I had to take a 0.3 to 99.7% long shot on winning a big pot. Wasn't even the only decent sized pot I lost by checking the flop vs a 2 outter. Don't give free cards unless you flop quads or better and even then only if the other cards on board are lower.

Playing against imbeciles is torture sometimes.

And another thing....I defy the people at poker tracker to tell me how someone can continuation bet the turn 125% (5 out of 4) of the time. I don't know either, but that's the stat that showed up on my HUD.

Today did show a very slight profit...nowhere near making up for yesterday though.....entirely due to this hand offsetting the 2 outters.

Just decided it was a good idea to blow off close to another 3 stacks on Full Tilt playing PLO. Usual Full Tilt trickery. Now down $500 in 5 days this month chasing $500 in bonus money to make up for the $600 I lost last month.

Didn't win 1 pot for over $15 but lost 4 larger. Every value bet folded to on the river, every single bluff called or raised.

Remember that little problem I had dropping stacks to 2 outters yesterday. Let's see, here I have top 2 pair and the nut flush draw....so why don't you call with your gut shot...which is actually just a 2 outter because I have a 4 and the heart isn't good. No problem. Happy birthday. How often in Omaha are you more than a 90% favorite on the flop? Yet I can't take advantage of these spots.

I could still have that set of Aces and I have a gut shot as some backup.....
Hey, I could have just filled up to Aces full on that river.....
Ok, I guess not.
(Incidentally this is how I know that everytime they pot it they have the nuts....because when I check a strong hand when the scare card hits me on the river they never bluff.)
